Pigeons and Panaderias

Today we woke up and walked to a panadería, which is a bakery. I was happily enjoying my pasty when I saw something disgusting. Pigeons were in the place where we were eating, and they were pecking at the bread on the lower shelf. The one hopped on the bread and flapped its wings. A worker came over and shooed them off, but instead of throwing the bread away, she just put it on a higher shelf. Gross.

Anyway, we went to the mall by Uber. Xander and I went to play at an arcade. I played whack-a-mole for the first time and was very aggressive. We won a toy hen, a marble, and two small chocolate balls. We named the hen Henry. We then got Pops! ice cream (Yum!) and almost watched a movie in Spanish. Mum then called Uber to pick us up.

We arrived at the National Theater and saw the Ann Frank set, which is the play they were doing. I touched a seat in the president’s box. Overall, it was really pretty and cool. Our tour guide had a very heavy accent, which made her a little hard to understand.

  1. Maybe you can take pictures of Henry in various locations along your travels! And I agree 100%, ice cream is better than bread that pidgeons have walked on or nibbled at.
