Night walk

When we where in Drake Bay, one night I went on a night hike. The guide’s name was Estabon, and we had to wear rubber boots. We started out walking a little bit to a stream, were we spent some time trying to find a glass frog. We found some eggs, wich we could see through, and then we found a glass frog. The glass frog is a very small frog, about the size of a dollar coin, and the top is green, but the bottom is see-through. Then we continued to a trail, and we went uphill, looking at tarantulas, leaf cutter ants, and crickets. When we got to the top of the hill, we saw a spider hanging upside-down, with an interesting web between its front legs. Estabon told us that the species would weave a web-net, and then would wait until a bug passed, and throw it on the bug. We went downhill, on a steep, wet, path, with a rickety handrail. We spent some time walking, and looking at the bushes, and then we found a poison dart frog. It was very tiny, and was red on top and purple-blueish on the bottom. He told us that they where only lethal if you ate them, but if you touched them your skin would still burn, you just wouldn’t die. After that, we went uphill for a while, and then we got back to the hotel.
